2023 marks our 73 Years in Existence!
Each year the New York State Saddle Horse Association (NYSSHA) gives out year-end awards in over 70 categories to eligible horses and riders that compete at NYSSHA sanctioned shows. For those who love to trail ride, NYSSHA promotes trail riding and presents year-end awards for those riders that log the most hours trail riding. To be eligible for these year-end awards you must be a member of NYSSHA, and be nominated by completing the NYSSHA Equitation Points Nomination Sheet, NYSSHA Performance Points Nomination Sheet, NYSSHA Gymkhana Nomination Sheet or the NYSSHA Trail Riding Enrollment Form. To be a member of the NYSSHA, exhibitors must belong to one of the member clubs. You can find show programs and entry forms for each member club show by visiting the Show/Nomination Page. You may print off as many copies as required. For information about a particular show, please contact the member club sponsoring the show. On each show program there is contact info. Pre-entry as a rule are not required, but they are encouraged. Most member clubs offer discounts and incentives to pre-entered exhibitors and/or charge additional post-entry fees. For general rules and info, the NYSSHA Rulebook is available for you to view or print.
